Hempy Day Cleanser // My New Love
I have been working on the perfect exfoliator for quite some time now. The OCM lends itself to a secondary exfoliator. There is a clear need in every routine for exfoliation, cell turnover, and general stimulation of the skin. No matter what type of skin you have, it needs to be exfoliated. Working within, what can be, the confines of Organic ingredients has presented several challenges. I have worked to find a balance between shelf life, ease of use, gentle exfoliation, and nourishment.
The cleanser that I have formulated is a combination of lots of amazing natural ingredients. Hempy Day Cleanser is my new love :)
Organic Raw Ground Almonds and Organic Raw Hemp Seeds act as physical exfoliants and gently slough off dead skin, stimulate cell turnover, and soften skin.
Kaolin Clay draws out impurities and adds creaminess to the cleanser when you add water.
Lavender Buds add some exfoliation and also smell and look lovely, they are complemented by Lavender and Geranium Essential Oils. Both oils are great for Acne, Aging, Scars, Oiliness, Dryness, and Elasticity.
Vegetable Glycerin acts as a humectant, drawing moisture to the skin. It also acts as a binder, keeping the cleanser together. This also makes it really easy to travel with your cleanser. You can scoop a small amount out with clean spoon, roll into small balls with clean hands, and place in any container that you like. Great for overnight trips and short business trips, as well as extended stays.
Organic Rose Hydrosol is added for its rich aroma and nourishing benefits for the skin.
This cleanser is amazingly versatile, and can be used every day by just about all skin types. It simplifies your skincare routine as well as adds to it. If you are Oil Cleansing, you can use this right after you oil cleanse in the evening. You can also use this as your AM cleanser, since you don't need to oil cleanse more than once a day.
The cleanser comes to you in either a 25,50,120, oe 270 mL amber glass jar. It also comes with a small spoon or wooden spatula to scoop the product out with. You want to be sure not get water in the jar or stick your fingers in to grab product. The cleanser will be good for up to 4 months as long as it is kept clean and dry.
Using it is also super simple. You mash as small bit into your palm. You want about the size of a quarter size amount. Drop a few drops of water over the cleanser and work into a creamy paste with your fingers. Massage in circular motions over your face and neck, rinse with warm water, pat dry, and moisturize.
